Trainwreck is a 90s classic bred from three popular landrace strains: Mexican, Thai and Afghani. These two sativas mixed with an indica produced an uplifting sativa-dominant hybrid that is low on the paranoia but high on the feeling… high. You might find yourself with red eyes, a dry mouth and a head full of bright ideas. You may also find relief from nausea, stress and depression. Also known for some potent pain relieving properties, Trainwreck can bring a focused rush of thoughts that detaches you from chronic pain.

A moist and spongy bud structure make for a lot of shake in the jar, for those who like to save the bits and pieces to roll. It also makes for lots of room for trichomes to grow. In fact this mossy army green is drowning in a sea of yellow of crystals. There are so many trichomes that the few hairs on these flowers are blanketed completely. It will burn gray and chunky, and could easily clog your piece.

The nose on this is a sweet lemon and pine; a citrusy version of the strain that brings to mind lemon cough drops.

The smoke is sweet and bright with a sharpness on the inhale that sits at the bottom of the throat. The exhale is expansive with a medicinal, piney finish that may urge you to cough. The high sits mostly in the head, with a slight body disconnect that can be good for pain but doesn’t leave the head with too floaty a feeling. The cerebral energy has an open focus to it and feels productive. The focus is rushed but without the pressure of anxiety. Keep hitting it and the high turns a bit syrupy and may be less functional but not totally impairing.

This is an indoor batch from Legacy Strains.
